FAQ
Q: What size patch do I need for my firearm?
A: We have created a convenient, easy to use Patch Selection
Chart that clearly displays the proper size patch necessary for you
application. Please see our Patch Selection Chart on the Product page or in the
Knowledge Center.
Q: Why are my patches so tight and getting jammed in the
bore?
A: There are many factors that can lead to this issue.
Presuming that you are using the correct caliber jag and patch size for your
application (Please consult our Patch Selection Chart) there is a simple trick
to avoid this issue. A commonly overlooked solution to remedy overly tight or
jammed patches is what we call “Side Spiking”. Please see our Side Spiking
article located in the Knowledge Center for more detailed information.
Q: Should I use Square or Round patches?
A: This is a simple matter of personal preference. Both
shapes clean as well as the other. We find that more competition shooters
prefer square patches, while military and law enforcement prefer round patches.
If side spiking patches, we would recommend square patches as you can offset
your spike toward a corner.
