X-Count™ Patches come in a variety of square and round sizes to allow a proper fit depending on cleaning styles and preferences. All patches are sized to correctly fit the recommended calibers and are able to be used with a variety of jag types.

Packed in hangable and re-sealable plastic bags for convenience, X-Count™ Patches are available in bags of 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 quantities.

Q: What size patch do I need for my firearm?

Q: Why are my patches so tight and getting jammed in the bore?

A: There are many factors that can lead to this issue. Presuming that you are using the correct caliber jag and patch size for your application (Please consult our Patch Selection Chart) there is a simple trick to avoid this issue. A commonly overlooked solution to remedy overly tight or jammed patches is what we call “Side Spiking”. Please see our Side Spiking article located in the Knowledge Center for more detailed information.

Q: Should I use Square or Round patches?

A: This is a simple matter of personal preference. Both shapes clean as well as the other. We find that more competition shooters prefer square patches, while military and law enforcement prefer round patches. If side spiking patches, we would recommend square patches as you can offset your spike toward a corner.
